We, ARC CRAFT EXPORTS PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of India, having its business address at Office No. 4, The Thar Dry Port, Near Muni Kripa Ashram, Sanand, Ahmedabad, Gujarat – 382110 operating under the trade name – FASHION EDIT INDIA (hereinafter referred to as "ARC" or "we" or "us" or "our") are committed to assisting you with your experience on our Website (as defined hereinafter).
ARC is a web and mobile based platform which has been conceptualized to bring the latest fashion and lifestyle trends from all across the world through its website https://fashioneditindia.com/ (or any successor site) and its related sub-domains, sites, mobile applications and tools accessed through a mobile device, mobile application, computer or any other device ("Website").
Through the Website, ARC enables the Users to purchase original merchandise such as clothing, footwear, jewellery, accessories from various fashion and lifestyle designers, cosmetics, organic supplements and food. ARC also provides Users the option to schedule an appointment with experts in various fields including but not limited to the field of skin care, nutritionists, stylists, designers, life coach, make-up artists on the Website (collectively referred to as the "Products").
The words "you" or "your" or "User" as used herein, refer to all individuals and/or entities browsing, accessing or using the Website or services for any reason.
1. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE OR WRONG SUPPLY OF PRODUCTS
1.1 It is your responsibility to inspect immediately upon delivery, the ordered Products and quantity in the invoice, before accepting the package from the delivery agent. In the event any discrepancy is found with the Product offered, or any damage to the packet is noticed by you, please leave a suitable remark on the receipt to the logistics service provider/courier for accepting the delivery of the products.
1.2 In the event the Product is with a manufacturing defect or a wrong product has been received, you are required to kindly contact us at email@example.com within 5 (five) days of receiving the Product. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not accept any complaints provided to us after the aforementioned period of 5 (five) days and such order shall be deemed to be considered complete.
1.3 In the event you contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org with respect to the Products mentioned in Clause 1.2 above, your email should contain comprehensive details of the complaint along with images of the defects and/or complaints of the product delivered to you. The information should include without limitation, details of the Product purchased, the order number, copy of the invoice, your address, phone number and date of delivery. Please note that your email should expressly contain the reason for return of the Product.
1.4 Your purchase shall be considered eligible for exchange only if it satisfies the following conditions: (i) the Product does not match the item in the order confirmation email; and/or (ii) If the Product you receive has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect. You may contact us on email@example.com in the event you would like to request for an exchange of your order within seven (7) days of receiving the order. We shall communicate your request for an exchange to the seller.
1.5 ARC shall conduct the quality control and examine the complaint as per its discretion and respond to your complaint within 48 (forty eight) hours of having received your complaint. You undertake to accept the decision taken by ARC regarding your complaint.
1.6 In the event ARC determines that your complaint fulfils the criteria mentioned above in Clause 1.4, then the Product shall be processed for exchange.
1.7 The Product may be returned to us in the following manner:
(i) Self-Ship: You are required to ship the product to the address mentioned on your invoice in case of any damaged or defective Products. It is hereby clarified that if you ship the Product, then the Product must be received within 7 (seven) days from the date of you having shipped the Product. Your exchange shall only be processed once the Product has been received.
1.8 Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy, you undertake to return the Product unused, unworn and with the original tags intact. Any failure to do so shall forfeit your right to claim an exchange for the Product.
2. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE SHIPPING ADDRESS
You acknowledge and agree that ARC shall not be liable to offer any refunds and/or exchange on the Product if you have provided us with an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or if there are 3 (three) failed delivery attempts by the delivery agent and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
3.1 To effect a cancellation, you are required to contact . An order for a Product can only be cancelled within 24 (twenty four) hours of placing the order. No cancellation request shall be entertained thereafter.
3.2 Our ability to refund any appointment fee charged to you for booking expert services on the Website shall depend upon the terms of the applicable cancellation policies with the expert.ARC shall also be entitled to charge a cancellation fee for any bookings for Products cancelled if ARC incurs some costs for such cancellation
3.3 Please note that certain rates, or special offers are not eligible for cancellation, refund or change. Late payment, wrong bank details, debit or credit card details, invalid credit/debit cards or insufficient funds will be at your own risk and account and you shall not be entitled to any refund of any non-refundable prepaid amount unless the seller and/or expert agrees or allows otherwise under its pre-payment and cancellation policy.
STORE CREDIT AND REFUND
Subject to a quality check by ARC, you may be offered a store credit, as applicable in your case. The store credit shall only be processed within 7 (seven) business days after receipt of the Product. If your purchase is eligible for an exchange, the credit note will also include the proportionate shipping cost.
In the event you have successfully cancelled the order in accordance with this Policy, you shall be offered a refund, which shall be made to the original method of payment.
Within five (5) days of receiving the order, you may contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org in the event you would like to request for any alterations for any order. Please note that Products may only be given for minor alterations only. Altered Products shall be delivered to you within ten (days) from the date of receipt of the Product by us.
LIST OF NON-EXCHANGEABLE PRODUCTS
The following items are not eligible for exchange under this Policy:
Accessories, including jewellery, clutches, wallets, bags, scarves, belts, footwear etc;
Custom made and made to order Products;
Orders placed using store credit;
Unstitched items like dupattas, sarees with unstitched blouse;
Altered products as per the specifications or measurements provided by you;
Products that are purchased in any sale/ or promotion organized by ARC; and
Products which were identified/marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable at the time of purchase etc.
Please note that under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, every e-commerce entity cannot impose cancellation charges on consumers cancelling after confirming purchase unless similar charges are also borne by the e- commerce entity, if they cancel the purchase order unilaterally for any reason.
