OUR INSPIRING WOMEN ACHIEVERS

    Dr Aarti Gupta
    Chairperson, FICCI FLO Kanpur Chapter

    A Doctorate in Economics from IIT Kanpur, a PG Diploma Holder in business studies from Harvard University, and a Masters Degree in Economics from Northeastern University, Dr. Aarti Gupta embodies the true spirit of entrepreneurship. She also serves on the Board of Harvard Global Women Empowerment and IIT Kanpur's invent cell.

    Married into the promoter family of the Jagran group, Dr. Gupta has been managing the family office of Mr. Devendra Mohan Gupta for the last nine years, directing the execution of their value-aligned investment strategy. Additionally, as Chief Investment Officer of the family’s angel investing entity - DBR Ventures, she works on diversifying the business portfolio through startup investments.

    Dr. Gupta has been named among the top 22 Women Investors in India by inc42 and she believes true empowerment comes from empowering those around us.

    Recognized as one of the fashion curators in Ahmedabad to bring truly global fashion designers to the city, Aditi has been very clear about her vision – “ Women Deserve Everything Good and she is going to do everything in her power to make it happen!”.

    With an experience and a background so vast and grand, it was only a matter of time when Aditi, from her hustling life, heading industries like infrastructure, logistics, energy & many more, added lifestyle to the mix, and on top of that, make it all heart! She founded TFE and TFE Foundation and is on an unstoppable journey to make a difference!

ABOUT THE CHARITY: DREAMS FOUNDATION

Dreams Foundation, our collaborator in our mission to empower women entrepreneurs is an organisation that supports talented individuals in their entrepreneurial initiatives by providing seed funding through interest-free loans and grants. Meet some of the success stories and be part of this amazing movement through the TFE Foundation.

  • Dipmala

    Poverty hasn’t come in the way of Dipmala’s dream to pursue her PhD in Biology. Dreams Foundation is supporting her journey by providing her with a laptop. She will be the first in her family and neighbourhood to achieve this academic glory.

  • Bhanuben Vasava

    Struggling to make ends meet in the tribal-dominated South Gujarat area, 49-year-old farmer Bhanuben’s attempts to buy a pump-set for her fields had come to naught. But Dreams Foundation helped her invest in a pump-set that has greatly improved the productivity of her farms.

  • Ranjanben Thakor

    32-year-old Ranjanben had an opportunity to support her large family by transporting items for events and earning a fee from it. But she didn’t have the means for transport. Dreams Foundation supported her with a pedal rickshaw which will greatly improve her chances at increasing her income levels.

  • Kundan

    A personal yoga teacher, Kundan’s classes were getting affected because her rundown scooter made it difficult for her to keep up with her appointments. The new scooter Kundan bought with the help of Dreams Foundations, has helped her add extra sessions to her schedule. She is saving up money now for her son’s education.

  • Roopaben

    An anganwadi worker, Roopaben had been struggling financially for years. An expert at making “mukhwas”, she longed to supplement her income with making and selling mukhwas. Now, with support from Dreams Foundation, she has started her own mukhwas business.

  • Laxmiben

    Dreams Foundation helped Laxmiben, a tailor pay off her loans whose exploitative interest had nearly crippled her income. She now feels far more independent and confident of supporting her family including her epilepsy-afflicted daughter.

  • Covid Relief

    We recently tied up with Manav Sadhana Foundation to raise funds for Covid Relief. We partnered with the prominent artist - Aditya Jassi who came live with us and sang a few tunes for us. All proceeds were used to supply medical equipment and essentials to the ones in need.
